Prefects

Our Year 4 pupils are all selected to be prefects throughout their final year at Wychbold. During the year they support the Headteacher and staff as role models for the younger pupils in the lunch hall, moving around the school and during outside play. Duties also include:

• Corridor monitors after assembly to ensure safety and respect as pupils return to class
• supporting staff with jobs at Lunchtime
• Representing the school 
• Being role models for behaviour and attitude

Play Leaders

Play Leaders are pupils who take on a special responsibility to help make playtimes positive, active and inclusive for everyone. They support younger children, organise games and encourage others to join in, promoting teamwork and friendship across the school. As role models, Play Leaders help to ensure that breaktimes are safe, enjoyable and engaging, while also developing their own confidence, leadership and communication skills.

Pupil Leadership Team

Our Pupil Leadership Team is made up of a diverse group of pupils from Reception to Year 4. The team meets regularly to share ideas, discuss ways to improve our school and reflect on the experiences of all pupils, ensuring every voice is heard.
